PC6IOTA  2006

After the 2005 operation PC6IOTA was active again during the summer of 2006.

We arrived on the island Tuesday evening 25 July. The station was ready to start QSO'ing Wednesday morning, the first QSO was made with the Montenegro expeditions 4O3T on 10 meters.  Also this year our main activity was the RSGB IOTA contest, more info about this you can find in the menu on top of this page. The last QSO was made in the early morring of Friday 4 Aug.

The Cushcraft R7, high above the trees.

Our amazing G5RV Inverted Vee.
Feeding point only 5 meters above the ground.
The only wire you see on this picture is the feeding line.
We had to put it this way, otherwise the sheep would eat it.

Believe it or not: we worked all 6 continents with this antenna!

These sheep were guarding our G5RV antenna.
